FOR DAVID AND DILLON LATOUR, RACING AND FAMILY TIME ARE ONE AND THE SAME
Though the 2009 season has been a bit of a struggle for David Latour, Jr. and his family-owned race team, the results of their hard work are starting to show as he is running in the top five in extra-distance races at tracks such as South Boston Speedway in Virginia, and looking forward to the “big money” shows at Martinsville (Va.) and Myrtle Beach (S.C.) Speedways later this year.
“We started at Caraway (N.C.) earlier this year because we wanted to run as many 150 and 200-lap shows as we could,” said David. “We ran there about half the year and decided to move around a little, so we’ve raced at South Boston and Motor Mile some too. The competition at those tracks is really tough, and it’s forced us to step up our game in order to run up front.” READ MORE...
